The AAmodvillc Bowling Club’s championship pairs competition was decided during the past week, A 7 owell and Dr. Mules running out the winners over Bullot and R. H. Morgan by a wide margin. and Dr. Mules have played excellent bowls throughout the season and thoroughly deserved their win. Further games in the Bolton Cup competition were played on the AVoodville green on Saturday. McKinlay beat Jamieson and in a further match, in which keen interest was taken, accounted for J. Young, a narrow margin of points separating the players. A Woodville rink McKinlay, O’Connor, Bibby, Young (skip)—journeyed to Dannevirke during the weekend to play a friendly match against Fairbrother, Bibby, Hicks and Petherick (skip). The result was tv win for the AA 7 oodville rink bv 18 points to 14 after a very interesting game.
