Impressive Work. An interesting gallop was staged at Ricearton between Willie Win and Settlement, who covered nine furlongs at a solid pare throughout. The (irst half mile teok 50 1-5 see and six furlongs 1.17, the full distance being covered in 1.57 2-5. the last half mile taking 54 2-5-ec. Settlement was clear of his mate a chain from home, hut the latter was up with him at the post. This was Settlement's most attractive work for some time.
