CERTIFICATES AWARDED. At the monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board, yesterday, recommendations for awards of environment certificates were brought forward by the acting senior inspector (Mr E. Crosby) and adopted by the board. The schools thus commended in the Manawatu and surrounding districts ar_e as follow : Endorsements of certificates ’ssimd previously.—Ashhurst, Awahou North, Beaconsfield, Bu'ls, Bunnythorpe, Cheltenham, Central (Palmerston North), College Street, Dunolly, Eitzherbert East, Eoxton, Glen Oroua, Hokowhitn, Kairanga, Kakariki, Kiwitea, Kopane, Linton, .byttnn Street, Manchester Street. Marton D.H. School, Marton Junction. Alilson, Ohakea, Oroua Downs, Parewanui, Pohangina, Rauinai, Rewa, Rongotea, Russell Street, Sanson. Taikorea, Taonui, Terrace End, Tiakitahuna, Tokorangi, Unuitoi, Utinvai, AVaitohi, Waituna AVest, AVest End, Western Rangitikei, AA’hakarongo, New certificate to be issued.—Longbum.
