POHANGINA VALLEY.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) POIIANGINA, Feb. 19. The Pobangina School’s annual picnic was held on the Domain grounds on Saturday. Although the weather was threatening, the rain held off, - and the full programme was carried out. Lunch and afternoon tea were served by the ladies’ committee, and generous supplies of sweets and. soft drinks were made available for the young people. After the sports tlie prizes were presented by tho chairman of the School Committee (Air A. Calmer) and the teacher (Air Paul).
