R.A.F. PHOTOGRAPHS.

RELEASE BY MINISTRY. LONDON, Jan, 21. Photographs of German towns and naval bases, taken by R.A.F. pilots, have been released by the Air Ministry. They were selected from hundreds taken during the last few months, from heights ranging from 24,000 to ■SOO feet. Some were taken so low that it is possible, without a magnifying glass, to detect swastikas on the wings of ’planes lined up at German aerodromes. There is a uliotograph of Sylt, one of the Frisian Islands, showing the hangars and seaplanes, and one of Munster (Prussia) showing the aerodrome, the .mmunition storage, and aeroplanes apparently taking off to attack the photographer. There is also a picture of Wilhelmshaven, showing a capital ship steaming from the harbour, and a dredger making a new channel.
