MALAGIGI’S VISIT.
FOR, CENTENARY CUP. SYDNEY, Jan. 2. The racehorse Malagigi will go to New Zealand to contest the Centenary Cup. Talkalot broke a leg during a training gallop to-day and ivas her; roved. At a sale of racehorses and untried stock to-day Mr W. Devon paid 1050 guineas for the chestnut coit Oraklo by Lo Zingaro from Recuperator. The Iliad gelding Gold Standard realised only twenty guineas. Mr \V. Ilaekett bought Micawber from .Mr Alan Cooper for 500 guineas. (Other sporting news appears on page 12.)
