FATAL ACCIDENT.
Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Nov. 2. When the lorry he was backing into a sand pit on his father's farm at Matamata capsized and rolled down a 50ft bank, pinning him underneath, Phillip Thirwall, aged 23, married, a fanner, was killed. His brother, Ronald, received a broken shoulder and a third occupant, Ronald Boyd, escaped with minor injuries.
