MAINLY FINE AND COOL. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. An anti-eyelone is located to the north while pressure is low to the south-east of the South Island. The forecast is for a temporary southerly change possible to-night, but otherwise light to fresh north-west to west winds predominating. A few isolated showers are possible hut the weather will be mainly fine and cool. Seas moderate. RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —3ft.
