CYCLIST’S DEATH.
Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 10. Thomas Farrell, aged 158, single, of Stratford, was killed at Stratford last night, when he fell from his cycle while riding downhill carrying an attache case- It appears that he free-wheeled down a short hill and caught his knee when he resumed pedalling. This evidently jammed the handlebars, throwing him to the road.
