NAZIS IN DANZIG

ESTIMATED TO BE 60,000. HINDRANCES REPORTED. DANGERS POINTED OUT. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Independent Cable Service.) Received July 31, 11.40 a.m. WARSAW, July 30. Unofficial estimates of the ipilitarisation of Danzig- place the number of Nazis under arms in the city at 25,000. The total in the whole Free City area of 475 square miles, containing several towns and villages, is 00,000. Because of Nazi hindrances and obstructions the Polish Customs officials are finding it most difficult to supervise imports into Danzig resulting in a heavy loss to Poland. Diplomatic circles declare that Poland must take action if the activities of tho Storm Troopers on the wharves are not stopped. Unless this is done soon, Danzig may become completely “Nazified.”
