Air J. 11. Salmon, S.AI., of AVanganui, has returned to the Dominion from a holiday visit to Australia. The Earl and Countess of Athlorie will participate in the Southern Rhodesian jubilee in 1940, says a London cablegram. A motion of sympathy with Trustee J. T. J. Heatley in his illness was passed at a meeting of the Palmerston North River Board to-day. the chairman (Air A. E. Alansford) expressing the hope that Trustee Heatley would soon be able to return to his duties.
