'lbis had been resolved “after a critical examination of the programmes of other countries.” Miss Ethel Euckley and Mr Robert T liman, of the Geach-Marlow Dramatic Coy., were appearing at tjie Opera House, Palmerston North, in a play entitled “The Woman Pays.” “East Lynne” was to be presented at a later date. The Australian Minister of Defence was issuing conditions for a national prize of £ooo for the invention of ail aeroplane.
