A threadbare tapestry armchair which Marshal von Hindonbiirg, Gorman Commander-in-Cbiol' in tlio war, uved at Gorman headquarters at Spa between June, ID 10, and November, and was recently exhibited at the Imperial War Museum, lias been handed over to the German Ambassador by its owner, Major John Reginald Chambers, as a friendship gift. Herr ILitler, having been apprised cf the gift, expressed his appreciation. Major Chambers was attached to British general headquarters during the war.
