I MANAWATU'S NARROW WIN. By three goals to one, ill a very fast match considering the state of the ground, the Manawatu B team beat Wairarapa. R. Tester, M. Byers, and_E. Nuttall scored goals for the local side (Byers's being from a penalty bully), and Clark netted for the visitors. The teams were: Wairarapa. Emerson, Ordish, Clark, Sigvertson. Worthington, Townsond, Saver, Bicknell, B. Dick, Bell, Leeto. Manawatu. —C. Hart. M. Byers, Miller, Winks. Nuttall. .Connolly, McMurray, Beale, Wallis, Tester, Buchanan. The umpires were Messrs H. Harding and I). Wilton.
