IN THIRTY-TWO MONTHS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON, July 1. At the recent annual meeting of the Burntisland Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Scotland, it was revealed by the chairman (Mr "Wilfred Avrc) that in the past 32 months the shipyard had turned out 32 ships, totalling 137,000 tons, and representing a rate of production of one vessel of 4300 tons per -month. This, claimed Mr Ay re, was a record that had not been eon ailed by any shipbuilding plant in the world. During the year under review, the company delivered to owners in Great Britain. Australia. Norway, Greece and Poland seven ships with a total carrying capacity of 39,000 tons.
