OVERSEAS REMITTANCES.

FURTHER RESTRICTIONS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. July 28. The holders of permits to send funds overseas have been informed that, for the next month or two, remittances will .not he possible in any but exceptional cases. The banks have reported this restriction to commercial firms. Holders of permits to send money away who have not made use of their permits, or have only partly used them, are required under the new regulation to have their permits resubmitted to tlie Reserve Bank. Firms are required to submit details of the total amounts they still desire to send away to meet their minimum requirements, and to set out. also, the amount they wish to send each month and the month or months in which they wish to send money. Further remittances under unused or partly used permits will not lie possible until application is made to and approved by the Reserve Rank.
