CARNIVAL DANCE.

Under the auspices of the Lyttou Street School Old Pupils’ Association, a dance was held in the Parish Hall, on Thursday, there being a full attendance and the function proved an unqualified success. The hall was prettily decorated with coloured streamers and balloons. The Gav Gordons dance was won by Miss Carlson and Mr Noble, while the Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss D. AA’aekrow and Mr Reid. The president of the association (Mr. R. Edelsten) expressed his gratitude to those who bad been responsible for the decorations and general arrangements, and stated that lie hoped the membership of the association would continue to grow at the same rate as it had recently.
