Jones and J. A. McDonell (hcci clary). Many suggestions wore cliscu.-scd regarding a centenary celebration function in Asiihurst. An outline of a proposal lo be presented at a general public meeting was tormuiaicd as follows: Grand eeniennial dance, parade of Aslihiust’s identities, early day section, middle and present day. An AHihur.-t Baud should had the parade, which would end at the hall, where tng-01-uar. Highland dancing, and other games could be held in the afternoon. Hails and entertainments parlours, competitions could also be held in the hall, hash afternoon and evening, with a concert -programme arranged for suitable interval of the evening's programme. A general meeting is lo he held in August. An advertisement will appear in thin paper.
