POOLS TO ACT THEMSELVES

OTTAWA, July 27

Tho (Minister of National Revenue (Mr IV. D. Euler) announced to-day that the Government Wheat Board will not act as a selling agent for the wheat pools. “The Government accepts tlie farmers’ crop up to 5000 bushels under n 70-cent guarantee,” he said. “The remainder is accepted by the co-operative pools at 60 cents. This surplus must be marketed by the pools themselves to further co-operative marketing.”
