BRIDGE AT BULLS.

URGENCY OF REPLACEMENT. Recently, following an accident on the Bulls bridge, the Mannwatu County Council made representations to the Minister of Public Works (Hon. R. Semple) for the urgent replacement of the structure, and at a meeting, of the council, yesterday, the following letter was received from the Minister: “The condition of the bridge is appreciated and the desirability of having it renewed ns early as possible is recognised. At the present time I can only indicate that we have a number of most important bridges on the No. 1 list of order of urgency awaiting design. njid that the above bridge is included in the list.”
