KITCHEN EVENING.

In the schoolroom on Saturday the Baptist Young People’s Society tendered a kitchen evening to one of their members, Miss Pearl Raymond, whoso marriage to Air Percy Hughes takes place shortly. Games were indulged in and after supper Air Howard, on behalf of the society, expressed their sincere wishes for the future happiness of the guest of honour. Miss Raymond was called upon to open numerous parcels, which revealed a fine display of kitchen utensils. Mr Hughes, also a member of the society, returned thanks to those responsible for arranging the pleasant gathering and for the. many useful articles received for their future home.
