RECRUITING RESPONSE.
■ Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 18. The peace-time establishment of Queen Alexandra’s Afountod Rifle Regiment of 326 men, exclusive of officers and bandsmen, has been exceeded by 46, and. according to information given bv Taranaki Military District Headquarters afe Tlawera to-day, there is every possibility of tho present strength of 372 men being considerably increased.
