AGRICULTURAL CLUB. In the mangold and carrot competition, conducted by the feouthein Hawke’s Bay Boys’ and Girls Agricultural Club, the results for the 193839 season were announced at the recent annual meeting of that body. There were fourteen competitors. Brian Brjnnt (Kumeioa) vis placed first John Bryant third, and slax Robb, also il Kmnerua, third. The officers elected for tile ensuing year included slcssrs. R. C. Leach, 51. D. Murray, Ray Morgan, J. Mitchell, T. Bryant, AA. Hutchins and Mrs. 51. V. Kemp. Reference was made in the report to the success of tlie Kumeroa competitors m the calf-rcaiirg competitions Acknowledgment was also made of the services rendered during the year by Messrs. R O. Leach, IL. Morgan. J. Mitchell. R. Hurdle, T. Ranford (Whakarongo) and the Woodville A ■ind P. Association.
