NOTES.
Under Ihe auspices of the Fcilding branch of the Labour Party, a euehn and dance function was held in tin Parish Hall on AVednesday evening there being a good attendance. Air B Frv acted as AI.C. Air and Airs G Mitchell won Hie Afonte Carlo waltz and Air Gordon and Ah's Legg the Gav Gordons. The euchre prizes went to Airs Fraser and Air F. Allerb.v. On Monday at 5 p.m. a special urgent mooting of the Fcilding branch of the Now Zealand Defence League is to be held in the borough office, mid all supporters are invited to lie present. Air E. Reeves (Dominion organiser) will be present.
