TOURING IN EUROPE.

IMPRESSIONS OF MANAWATU WOMEN.

Interesting letters have been received from Mrs A. P. Easton, of Foxton, and Mrs E. Dymock, of Palmerston North, who were members of the New Zealand delegation attending the triennial conference of the Associated Country Women of the World, in London. Mrs Easton described various entertainments and mentioned that on the Sunday following the writing of her letter she was going to the Old Vic Theatre with a small privileged party to be shown over the theatre and behind the scenes, etc. The day following she was to attend a roundtable conference on “The Rural Theatre and its Possibilities” taking the place of one of the official delegates and it was there Mrs Easton hoped to got information that would be helpful to the federation in its dramatic work.

Mrs Dymock described the Continental tour, before Ihe conference, when in spite of the language barrier, there had b°en an atmosphere of kindness and ho«p ! talitv wherever they went.
