REPERTORY SOCIETY.
On Saturday, July 22. and the following Monday and Tuesday, the Mannwatu Repertory Society will present “The Distaff Side.” by John van Du’ton, produced by Miss Mavis Mortland, with a talented cast. The characters range from young Roland fßria.il Waldegrave), an opinionated young medical student-, to the sophisticated worlding, Chari .3 Hubbard (Roland Allison), who is courting Roland’s sister Alix (Peggy Waldegrave). A whole family of three generations air their joys and sorrows at a time of crisis. This entertaining play is to be presented at the Empire Hall and booking opens on Wednesday for the public.
