The Amir of Kafsinn, who is visiting England, was received in audience by tiie King to-day. His Alajcsty also received Admiral Sir William James on his appointment as Comniander-in-Chief at Portsmouth and Rear-Admiral S. Phillips (DeputyChief of the Naval Staff at the Admiralty).
