ALL SAINTS' HOME.
TRIBUTE TO LATE MRS MONRAD. The monthly meeting of the ladies’ committee of All Saints’ Children’s Home was held at the hoinc on Thursday. Air C. H. Handley presided and others present were: Alosdames 11. G. Pagnall, A. K. Mansford, A. Nichoils, W. Phillips, Alisscs It. Owtram and It. J. Whyte (secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Canon and Airs Woodward. Afcsd allies Akers, AY. F. Field and A. L. Robinson. Tlie matron reported the children were now all in good health. Aliss Healv had resigned from the staff and Aliss Wallace had been appointed sub-matron. Five children were admitted to the borne during the month and applications for three more were accepted. A most generous donation of eight coses of apples were received from Air Pslierwood, of Hastings. A special vote of thanks was extended to Air Pratt, hairdresser, for Ids genero-ity to the home. A vole, of syninaMiv was extended lo Air O Afonraii in hjs greet bereave ment. The late Airs Afonrad bad been a member of tbe Indies' committee. and during ’that time bad been an ardent worker for the borne. Even after her retirement from the commit-i lee through ill-he“liJi she took a very keen interest in the home.
