PRESBYTERIAN GUILD.

The monthjv meeting of St.. David’s Presbyterian Guild was held in the church, Mrs J. M. Graham presiding over a good attendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Grinlinton, Hartridge, Kirkpatrick, Forbes and Smith. The secretary (Airs H. Hume) read correspondence from Airs Elder, who expressed her thanks and appreciation to the guild for a small gift forwarded her from the members. Sympathy was extended to Airs O. de Alalmancho, who had to again enter hospital, the secretary being instructed to write accordingly. It was decided to entertain Air and Airs Ralph Hutching when a presentation on behalf of the congregation will be made. Airs L. AYillia ms was elected a member and the president extended a hearty welcome to her. At the conclusion of the business the members adjourned to the Alethodist Church, where they were welcomed by Airs Bowman, on whose invitation they attended. An excellent address by Aliss Hodder on the “Passion Play” was thoroughly enjoyed. Airs Graham, on behalf of the Presbyterian Guild, returned thanks to the Alethodist ladies for their invitation and also to Aliss Hodder for her interesting talk.
