IMPORT REGULATIONS.

HEARING OF APPEAL. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 12. A provisional fixture for the hearing of the appeal by the Court of Appeal in the case of the Collector of Customs versus Jackson and Company (Auckland), involving tlio validity of the imports regulations, has been made for Juno 26, but there is a possibility the easo may be taken earlier to meet Hie convenience of counsel engaged in other appeals. The Solicitor-General, making reference to the import appeal case, said it had not been set down in the Court of Appeal yet. but it was anticipated that the application for leave to set down would be made in the. near future. He suggested a provisional fixture be made.
