Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington markets this week are cpiotcd as follow: Apples.—Stunners, 5s to 8s a bushel ease; Delicious, 5s to 8s 9d: cooking, 6s to 9s; Jonathans, 5s to 10s; Granny Smith, 7s to I 10s. Pears: Winter Coles, 6s to 10s a three- | quarter case; cooking, 6c to 9s; Keiffer. 6s i 6tl to 9s 6d. Grapes: Hothouse, Is 9d to 2s 6d a. !b. Passion fruit, 8s to 16s 3d a I half-ease. New Zealand grapefruit, 12s to 16s 3d a bushel ease. Tomatoes: Local outside, 2is 6d io 9s 3d a ease; round. 5s to 10s. Tree tomatoes, 4s to 6s 6d a half-case. Beans. —Hothouse. 6d to Is 2d a lb.
