SQUASH RACKETS.

NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. The New Zealand squash racquets championship was played at Devonport. Auckland, at the Nava! Depot, last Saturday, to Monday. The same four reached the semi-finals as they had done in the last two or throe years. v The holder of the champion, W. E. Renton, of Timaru. won very easily for the third time" from Peter Hall, Christchurch, who has also previously won the championship three times. Renton, accompanied by J. W. Young, a good player, is travelling to Palmerston North by car and will lie staving with Mr 11. N- Matson from Friday to Saturday. Renton would like to play with any number of local players who might wish to have a. game with him on Friday afternoon and evening. Young, also, would be glad to play with those not of championship class. Anyone who would like to meet, these players should communicate with Mr Mark Rodgers. Palmerston North Dr. Fea, who won the championship when it. was played in Palmerston North two years ago. was beaten in the semi-finals at, Devonport by Renton .
