YOUNG MAN CHARGED.

BURGLARY AT MARTON. Per Press Association. MARTON, May'2s. As a sequel to a recent burglary at Marton Junction, two local youths, Colin Robert Anderson, aged 19, and John Hector McLean, aged 19, were charged with complicity and dealt with summarily in the Magistrate’s Court by Mr R. M. A\ atson, S.M., while Ronald McGowan Kennedy, aged 27, married, was charged before justices with breaking and entering the premises of T. A. Wilson and theft of a safe, valued at £lO, £2O in cash, and £9 4s in cheques. He was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence. All pleaded guilty. There were additional separate charges against Anderson, of thefts at Bulls and Rata and against Kennedy of theft in Bulls. Evidence showed that Kennedy removed the safe and the others helped to open it and shared the contents. Anderson was committed to the Borstal Institute for twelve months and McLean was admitted to probation lor a year and ordered to make restitution.
