LONDON, May 22 ; The Government, on May 27, will take a census of wool stocks and tops, marking the end of the British buying period for the Australian and New Zealand season. The Board of Trade does not anticipate an immediate national emergency, nor is the Government buying reserves, but is simply ascertaining the nation’s supplies owing to unsettled conditions. Last year’s census included machinery and stock, which is now .unnecessary,
