NOTES.
ATembers of Loyal AA'oodville and Loyal Alangtainokn Lodges of the Oddfellows’ Order (Alanchester Unity) attended a recent meeting of the Loyal Dnnnevirke Lodge. Sister ATcLean and Bro. Ray Morgan made response for the Woodville lodge and Sis. AfcQueen for Alangatninoka. A number of members of the Dannevirke juvenile branch are expected to visit A\ 7 oodville on Thursday. A card evening was held at the residence of Airs D. Kenyon in aid of the Croquet Club, the hostesses being Airs Kenyon and Airs Bullot. The ; winners of prizes were Airs Birchali and Air D. Kenyon. The AA’oodville branch was represented at the quarterly meeting of delegates to the Hawke’s Bay provincial council of the H.A.C.B. Society, held at Dannevirke. A number of shooting parties were out during the week-end, and it is reported that very fair sport was obtained. According to a statement made by the chairman at a meeting of the Woodville School Committee, there is a shortage of coke in Palmerston North and the committee had been unable to procuro supplies from this source.
