FATAL CAR ACCIDENT.
VEHICLE OVERTURNS. ELDERLY WOMAN KILLED. Fatal circumstances attended a motor accident which occurred about six miles north of Woodville this morning when a small English car overturned leading to the death of MRS ELIZABETH ANN WORLEY, widow, aged 60 years, of Hastings. Airs Worley was accompanied by her son, Air Albert Alexander Worley, and from the details so far available, it is understood that the vehicle got into a gutter on the roadside and somersaulted, turning over end by end. Airs AVorley was killed instantly her injuries including a fracture or the skull. Air AVorley received a had shaking in addition to suffering from the other tragic circumstances of the accident. Efforts were being made by the poliee at AVoodville to arrange an inquest for this afternoon, for the hearing of the preliminary evidence. It is understood t,liat Airs AA'orley and her son were travelling from Hastings to Palmerston North.
