The Financial News says it is reported that Germany has obtained control of £0,000,000 worth of Czech gold held in London. It is believed that this sum represents that portion of the former Czechoslovak National Bank’s gold which was held here in the name of the Bank of International Settlements. It has been found that the Bank of International Settlement gold could not have been brought within the scope of the Act blocking Czech assets in London.
