FIRE FOLLOWS THREATS.
ARMY ORDNANCE DEPOT. (Independent Cable Service.) LONDON, May 10. Following anonymous threats received at a. nearby R.A.F. airport, a big blaze occurred at an Army depot near Nottingham last night containing hundreds of light motor vehicles and tyres. The depot is one of the chief distributing centres of Army cars. Petrol tanks hurst and one big sired was destroyed when tlie depot was burned. Another was saved. It is officially stated that no vehicles were damaged, anti that a large number of tyres were saved.
SOLDIER REMANDED.
CHARGE]'* AYTTH SETTING EIRE TO BUILDING. Deceived Mav 11. 10.5 a.m. LONDON, May 10. A soldier has been remanded on a charge of setting fire to the ordnance building.
