At tlie Owhanga sports on Easter Saturday Miss Dorothy McLean was first in the jig, second in the fling, second in the sword dance, second in the senntrinbhas, third in the hornpipe and also the winner of the points cup in open dancing. Miss Ruth McDowall was first in the fling and second in the sword dance (under 10 years class). On Easter Monday. at the Rangatana sports, Miss McLean was first in the fling, first in the swords, first in the hornpipe, first in the Irish jig and also the winner of the points trophy (16 years and under class). Miss McDowall was first in the fling, second in the hornpipe, third in the swords (in the 10 years and under class), also second in the fling, and second in the! hornpipe (13 years and under class).
