FIRE PREVENTION. The annual meeting of the Moodvibe Eire Board was held to-day. J [> c following report was presentedl by tlie superintendent (Air T. B. McNeil): “The brigade received one call only, which was to the tar boilers in the Borough Council’s yards. Jno average attendance at musters was 90 per cent. The plant is in good order. he strength of the brigade at present is two officers and 14 men. Following the annual meeting, the quarterly meeting of the hoard was held and the superintendent submitted the following report for the threemonthlv period: —“Seven musters have been held And the attendance lias been good. The majority of the fire plugs have been inspected and are in good order. The lining of the fire shed haft been completed and looks very well indeed. Nothing further has yet been clone in regard to the wire rope on the hose rack. The three new uniforms cnine to hand and are very satisfactory. The brigade’s requirements include 300 feet of hose.”
