AUSTRALIAN GOLFERS.
VON NIDA AND CREMIN ARRIVE

The Australian golf players von Nida and Crcmin arrived to-day to play exhibition matches. After the tour Crcmin will return to Australia and von Nida is going to Suva, Honolulu, America, and England. Von Nida said that in Australia Crcmin was believed to be the best putter in the world. The standard of golf in Australia- was high, and to win the New South Wales competition it was necessary to better par figures. The New Zealand Centennial tourneys had aroused a great deal of interest in Australia and there would be at least fifteen professionals ns well as a team of amateurs, coming. He, too, was coming back for the tourneys. Von Nida said that if the Golf Council were agreeable ho would do what he could to induce American and English golfers to take part in the tourneys.
