TRADE IN BACON.
BRIT A IN’S REQUIREMENTS,
I NCRE AS ED IMPORT ATiONS,
(British Official Wireless.) Received March 27, 8.5 a.m. RUGBY. March 26.
The Board of Trade is arranging for the importation during April. May and June ol an additional quantity of bacon amounting to 208,650 cwt. from certain supplying countries. This is mainly to replace temporary deficiencies in supplies from home and other sources, hut also includes an additional 39 050 cwt. to the total allocation at present in force.
