PLEA FOR UNITY.

M. DAL ADIER’S SPEECH. PARIS, March 25. The Prime Minister, M. Daladier, in a speech to industrialists to-day, said that the safety of the country depended on the union .of ail citizens. The difficult hours before France required mobilisation of hearts as well as arms.

M. Daladier urged employers to reinstate strikers, and said that the Government would give a lead in offering re-employment to those it had discharged. The country’s production must, in view of the European situation, be raised to the highest level.
