MARTON, March 25. At the annual meeting of the Marion branch of the Young Farmers’ Club, over which Mr It. Shield presided, the election of officers resulted: Advisory, president, Air H. G. Stewart; chairman, Mr A. B. Marshall, secretary, Mr H. Kimpton; treasurer, Air W. Emmett;. committee, Messrs ft. Shield, M. Morrison, L. MoLeay, D. Gordon, G. Louric; . delegates to Wanganui District executive, Messrs L. MoLeay, It. Shield and chairman. Dr T. G. Harpur was in the chair at the annual meeting of the Marton Golf Club, when the report stated that tho membership was still very satisfactory. The election of officers resulted: —President.'Mr B. Cochran; captain. Mr E. J. Christensen; secretary, Mr M. N. Atkinson, auditor, Air N. D. Anderson; committee, Alessrs A. Fullerton-Smitli, H. Coleman, NT. C. Fenwieke, Dr T. G. Harpur, Dr It. A. Church and officers ex officio.
