POPE’S PEACE APPEAL.
RENEWAL TO EUROPE’S
LEADERS.
Received March 24, 32 noon. ROME, March 23. It is authoritatively stated that Pope Pius XII will renew the Vatican peace appeal to the heads of the European States and to President Roosevelt. Pope Pius, who is personally friendly with some of Europe’s principal rulers and President Roosevelt, is believed to l>e formulating an appeal which will be transmitted by nuncios and the Apostolic Delegates in the various capitals.
