ASHHURST SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report small yardings in all department at Wednesday's sale at Ashhurst. Two or three pens of ewes and lambs met with just fair competition at values on a par with those ruling at other centres. A small yarding ol fat cows all ex tlio dairy sold at late rates. The doniand for potter cows and bulls was slow, this fact no doubt being duo to the shortness of spaco at the various works, brought about in the main by not sufficient shipping accommodation being available. Quotations: Tat 2ths, 19s. 20s to 21s; aged ewes r.w. S.D. ram, 10s, 10s 6d, 11s 6d; S.D. naans, 2gns, 2jgns, 2|gns to ogres; fat cows, £4, £4 10s, £4 15s, £5, £5 5s to £5 10s.
