Mr J. A. Colquhoun, the acting rce>r, introduced Mr A. A. Langley,

chairman of the Parents’ Association, who, ho remarked, had for a large number of years done much for the school.

Mr Langley said how pleased he was that the day had l*ocn a perfect one and he hoped that this fact would greatly assist in the amount of money which they hoped to raise. As Mr M. 11. Mr Murray wished the school success in the efforts. “To show you,” said Mr Langley, “how much thought the Parents’ Association have for your welfare, wo have an average attendance of over twenty members at each monthly meeting.” The speaker added that he was very p>leasod that the school had eclipsed the previous record, established la-st year, for the sale of badges. “The sum of £54 12s 6d has been realised from this source,” he said, “and last year’s record was £53 18s Gd.
