CHARGE AGAINST CAR DRIVER

Spending Saturday evening at a friend’s home, where liquor was consumed, Arthur Charles Griffiths, a watersider, borrowed his friend’s car to procuro pies. He was overbaken by a traffic officer when travelling at a high speed and was found in an advanced stage of intoxication. He was remanded in custody till Friday.
