GUARDS AT CAPETOWN.
POLICE RESERVISTS CALLED UP
JOHANNESBURG. March 18.
All South African police reservists have been urgently called up and leave has been cancelled. It is believed that this action follows the German protest against the restriction of immigration to South-west Africa. Armed guards were placed over the power station at Capetown and also at the overseas cable terminus, the city reservoir and the docks.
