CALLS IN LONDON

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 18.

The British and French Governments are keeping in close touch over the European situation. Lord Halifax (Foreign Secretary) had an interview jvith the French Ambassador at the Foreign Office and the British Ambassador in Paris was in contact with the French Ministers. The French Ambassador in Berlin is returning to report to his Government. The High Commissioner for the Dominions saw Sir Thomas Inskip at the Dominions Office this afternoon. Lord Halifax saw the French, Russian, American and German Amlxass.adors’ to-dav and had a visit from Mr Anthonv Eden. The Cabinet meeting lasted for two hours and twenty minutes.
